Glory Mission that was launched yesterday didn't go well, and now that NASA held a press conference about it, we know more about it.
The fairing on top of the rocket didn't separate from the satellite at 3 minutes after launch. Now, it's probably in the Pacific.
This is the second time this sort of thing happened with the Taurus rocket, the fist time being 2 years ago. The fairing didn't separate at that time too.
Fmm... they had 2 years to look at what went wrong, and they repeat the same mistake. Though space exploration is always risky, couldn't this have been a preventable failure?
